The TotalEnergies is hiring a Financial Analyst. Context and Environment Promote the Company strategy (financial & business orientations) towards Area 1 JV Partnership to enhance TEPMA1 interests; Provide a dedicated channel to provide financial information to MozLNG Partners and Regulatory Activities; Develop and manage relationship with Partners and Regulatory Authorities; Promote and ensure constant and effective communications at all levels between Finance staff and the organization at large. Activities Know, respect and ensure compliance with the Company’s Code of Conduct; Prepares and distribute monthly Joint Interest Billing (JIB) and cash calls to Area 1 Partners in accordance to the Joint Operating Agreement; Provide responses on Partners enquiries in relation to Joint Interest Billing and Cash calls; Prepares information for the cost recovery reports in line with the requirements of the EPCC; Prepare materials for the accounting subcommittee, and when applicable report the result of Partner interactions to the Operating Committee Meeting; Management and monitoring of the Project Development Budget for any approved project or investment at MOZLNG; Maintain the finance relationship with our Partners; Prepares and submits monthly joint venture information for Mozambique LNG Project; Perform activities for the JV accounting and ensures timely and accurate accounting records, billings, cash calls and other funding- Ensure cost recovery compliance to the various agreements; Ensures compliance to the financial aspects of the Joint Operating Agreement Decree Law and others MozLNG Project; Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecast for the assigned areas and ensures timely submission to the Regulatory Authority and Area 1 Partners; Assists other departments by providing data for preparation of cash calls, budgets and information for partners; Maintains and enforces strict compliance with SOX Controls relating to Joint Venture Operations. Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics is required and being a Certified Accountant in Mozambique is preferential; Minimum 6 years of general business experience in the Finance area; Basic to intermediate knowledge of the oil and gas industry is a strong plus – Able to use specialized accounting software (SAP) and other Windows PC applications; Communication skills, organization skills, analytical skill Good inter-personal skill; Knowledge in E&P business is essential; Fluent in Portuguese and English.
